How Segment Party handles your data

This page explains what data we store, why we store it, and how connected services such as Strava and cloud file providers are used.

1. What we collect

We collect the minimum information needed to operate Segment Party: account details, session data, uploaded route files, party and stage data, and moderation records.

2. Account data

When you create an account, we store your email address, name, password hash, and settings so you can sign in and use the app.

3. Connected services

If you connect third-party services such as Strava, Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive, we store the tokens and account metadata needed to keep the connection working and to import or sync files you choose.

4. Route files and uploads

Uploaded GPX, TCX, and FIT files are processed to create routes, stages, uploads, and results. We keep the data needed to render leaderboards, moderation views, and audit history.

5. Cookies and sessions

We use essential cookies and session storage so you can stay logged in and use the app securely. We do not use advertising cookies.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We only share data with service providers that are required to run the app or the connected integrations you choose to use.
